Endemit von Zypern (Nordkette und Troodos-Vorland), 1 Einzelpflanze wurde in Südanatolien bei Kemer gefunden.

Magerrasen, Brachland, extensives Kulturland, Küstenwiesen, Phrygana, Gebüsch und lichte Kiefernwälder; in vollem Licht bis Halbschatten meist auf trockenen bis feuchten Kalkböden, manchmal auch auf Sandstein; in 0-800(1000) m Höhe
